Flop Show has a distinctive opening sequence. It starts off with a dedication to those whom

the specific episode is poking fun at. This is followed by the title song "Flop Show", which

mocks the show itself as being misdirected. It features most of the main cast collectively

playing musical instruments as a band. Jaspal Bhatti appears as an eye-patch wearing,

menacing looking director. The other cast members are dressed variously as a police

inspector, a doctor, a peon, etc.

All 10 episodes of Flop Show are satires done on socio-cultural problems of the common man.

The show was immensely popular and still gets repeated re-runs on various Doordarshan

channels.

10. On August 8, 1942, Mahatma Gandhi called for immediate independence and the All India

Congress Committee passed the Quit India resolution at the Bombay session. The government

responded by arresting the major leaders and locking them in an undisclosed place and thus

tried to pre-empt the movement from success. A young woman presided over the remainder of

15. X is credited with the invention of the first wireless detection device and the discovery of millimetre length electromagnetic waves and considered a pioneer in the field

of biophysics. IEEE named him one of the fathers of radio science. X was averse/not

interested in patenting his inventions.

Y spoke to him and tried to convince him to patent his inventions, but X refused, so Y made

copies of this invention and carried it with him to USA. Y asked one of his followers to file

the patent for the invention in absence of X. X was the first person from the Indian

subcontinent to receive a US patent, in 1904.

16. His teachers in college were Jagadish Chandra Bose and Prafulla Chandra Roy. He had

worked with Louis de Broglie, Marie Curie, and Einstein. X translated Eintein's Theory of

Relativity to English.While giving a lecture, X discovered a result that he published in a paper. It was not published citing it was just a case of simple mistake. X then wrote to Einstein who agreed with him. Einstein then sent his won paper in support of X and asked them to publish it

together. It is known as X-Einstein statistics and led to a phenomenon called X-Einstein

condensate.

In particle physics, subatomic particles that obey X–Einstein statistics was named after X.

19. Traditionally, they were snake handlers. The dance movements and the costumes of their

community bear a resemblance to that of the serpents. They are also known as Sapera, Jogira

or Jogi. Male participants take care of the musical part of the dance.

The dancers (mainly females) wear long black skirts embroidered with silver ribbons. As they

spin in a circle, their bodies sway acrobatically, sinuously to the accompaniment of the

Pungi, the Dufli and the plaintive notes of the "been", the wooden instrument of the snake

charmers. As the beat increases to such high pitch, free flowing voice, while others join in
